Preparing the latest SaddleSync information.
Follow the steps for your device. There is no App Store or Google Play download, and you will use the same SaddleSync account you already have.
Before you begin
Open the SaddleSync address supplied by your barn before installing. Every barn address is a separate, secure installation.
Installing adds a Home Screen icon. It does not enable notifications or change your privacy choices.
Apple devices
Use Safari and iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later. A normal bookmark is not the same as opening SaddleSync as a web app.
Open the exact SaddleSync address supplied by your barn. If the link opened inside Mail, Gmail, Facebook, or another app, use its menu to open the page in Safari.
Android devices
Use your browser's install menu. These steps use Chrome, but wording and Home Screen placement can vary by phone manufacturer, browser version, and launcher.
Open the exact SaddleSync address supplied by your barn in Chrome. If an email or messaging app opened its own browser, choose Open in Chrome first.
iPhone or iPad: Confirm you are in Safari. Scroll to the bottom of the Share menu and use Edit Actions if Add to Home Screen is missing.
Android: Confirm you are in Chrome and check both Install app and Add to home screen. A browser-provided shortcut is still safe to use, but it may open in a browser tab.
Open the infinity-mark SaddleSync icon and sign in if asked. Your browser session does not always transfer to the installed app.
Notifications are optional and are enabled separately from App & Push Notifications after you are signed in.
Tap Safari's Share button. Depending on your Safari layout, you may tap the More button first and then Share. Scroll down and choose Add to Home Screen.
Make sure Open as Web App is on, tap Add, then open SaddleSync from the new infinity-mark icon. The installed app may ask you to sign in again.
Tap the three-dot More menu. Choose Add to home screen and then Install. Some phones show Install app directly; either label can be correct.
Follow the confirmation on your screen, then open SaddleSync from the infinity-mark icon. Your launcher may place it on the Home Screen or in the app list.
