SaddleSync exists because the tools available to barn owners were either too complex, too expensive, or not built for how lesson barns actually work.
Managing a lesson barn means juggling weekly schedules, tracking which families owe makeup lessons, chasing down payments, and keeping parents informed — usually with some combination of spreadsheets, phone calls, and a whiteboard that's never quite up to date.
The software options out there are built for gyms, dance studios, or massive equestrian operations with dozens of features most barns will never use. Setting them up takes weeks, getting parents to adopt them is a battle, and you end up paying for complexity you didn't ask for.
SaddleSync is different. It connects recurring lessons, programs, events, households, riders, horses, waivers, billing, and communication without losing the operational details that make a barn different from a generic studio. The product follows how lesson barns actually work, not a generic booking template.
These principles guide everything we do at SaddleSync.
Barn management is complicated enough. SaddleSync keeps each role focused on the schedule, people, money, and decisions that need attention now.
This isn’t a generic booking tool with a horse icon. Riders, horses, tack, waivers, lesson programs, makeup tokens, camps, and shows are part of the product model.
SaddleSync is actively developed based on feedback from the barns using it. Features are prioritized by what barn owners actually ask for.
Each barn can define its lesson pricing, payment methods, cancellation and token policies, programs, branding, and registration access without changing how the platform works.
Spreadsheets, paper sign-ups, and manual reminders weren’t cutting it. Existing software was either overkill or not built for barns.
Development began with recurring schedules, rosters, family accounts, makeup tracking, waivers, and barn-scoped payments.
SaddleSync grew to connect programs, camps, shows, stable assignments, household billing, guest access, an installable app, and multi-channel notifications.
The current release is being tested and refined with working barns before wider availability.
To give lesson barns and training programs a dependable shared system for the work around each ride, so teams can spend less time reconciling admin and more time teaching and caring for horses.
